    GOD DAMN RIGHT!

first, i wud like to not thank god, has he had nothing to do with this!

second, spinny for showing cole hamels in double A. u r spot on bro!

watched with a friend last nite and after it was over, the champagne was flowing and we just shrugged our shoulders, hugged and started crying.

    LOL, no shit!

u really cant overstate how important that win was to the psychologically of that great but dying town.

play of the game for me, was chase making that play at the plate.

still rofl thinking about howard knocking the whole pile over like a bowling ball hitting pins.

    glad i took today off.

i shud catch the next flight to philly and go to the parade, but i gotta get hopin on my move to costa rica.

after this, really, there is nothing keeping me here.

he is terrified of the obama-pelosi-reid regime

thinks his federal income taxes are goin up to 43-44% and also they are goin to impose a transaction tax on all trades

  7. no, Bud ... they are learning from us on how to act fast, etc.

But I think Asia does suffer from beefer antics and they have a gripe that is consistent with our problem, too.

    ReplyDelete
  8. 43% ... uh ... that is the current tax rate in income earned by almost anyone on Social Security.

The tax system has been punishing the common man retiree for years and letting beefer managers like Peter Peterson pay low rates like 15%

    ReplyDelete
  9. uhhhh......the 15% is on 'risk capital'

Bman are you familiar with the concept of 'risk'..........means you could lose it all in a second.....as many beefers have learned recently

we need to encourage investing....not disourage it by taxing it like ordinary income

PS.....are you sure retirees pay 43%.......i think that is only at the very high end

  10. are these real buyers this morning?

  11. T Boone outta all his oils

kinda reminds you of Ted Turner when he sold a ton of TWX 9/10$ area..it went up !00% from there.....yikes

    ReplyDelete
  12. that is such BS, Bud.

That "risk capital" is money they never, ever paid a $ of tax on in the first place !

Sure, IFF they pay taxes on the first "investment" and then get 15% on risk capital like the rest of us.

    But they don't.

They pay nothing on that "carried interest" they get as a fee, and as it grows they pay 15%.

But we common man pay 30-40% on income and then invest it and pay the 15%. And if we lose the $, we get our looses limited to $3000 per year.

    Totally unfair.
