A Day Off

I'm helping Mrs. B drive to a sheep herding event in upper New Hampshire today. We're leaving early, so I can't post today. Sorry.

Word of the Day

"Harbinger" - noun [$10] an old one from the files
Harbinger means 1. one that pioneers in or initiates a major change; 2. something that presages or foreshadows what is to come.
Sentence: One wonders if the Olympic committee thumbing its nose at Obama is a harbinger to the decline and fall of the Bloviator aka La Grande Bouche.

  15. I stopped trading commodities becasue I didn't want to do the work to make the money. I make plenty of money - prefer the spare time.

Life is a lot more than making more money, especially if one is already "rich" enough.

I can't figure out why so many people keep trying to make more. Ego, I guess. Or they think they can buy immortality with money. Don't know.

It did take a couple years to lose the urge fo rthe "action".
