ReplyDeleteFor a starter DVD course for French, Italian and Spanish I use www.fluenz.com - I liked their style, it works for me.
Usually I quickly move ahead to books & workbooks I buy on amazom or barnes&noble.
A lots o fthe common CD courses are no good for me, as they just do dialoges, etc.
I want to learn how to write and say my own thoughts, not just something for tourists.
And I buy the best unabridged dictionary for each. That's how I get the "interesting" words & idioms, and all the details.
I put audio CDs on the iPhone so I can practice anywhere.
So the new "Word of the Week" is part of my propaedeutic system.
