On Tuesday Krypto went shopping for US stocks and yesterday Ms. Market rewarded her patience. Is it party time - will Ms. Market start dancing on the tables for a summer rally ?
To this person sitting in his bunker in the deep woods, that outcome seems quite possible. The world has been treated to months of doom & gloom; the permabears have been feeding for too long. Newsletters seem rather extreme now. Why can't the US and world just muddle along and start a decent recovery late this year ? IF SO, a summer rally to price in a better outcome can occur.
The future is not certain - nothing is written. BUT barring new bad news, I want to be long & strong and hold my stocks for awhile.

Cacochromatic means having or displaying a jumbled, unpleasant mixture of colors. The word is formed with the [Greek] combining form, caco-, meaning bad, and chromatic, meaning colors.
Sentence: Perhaps I am truly an anachronism, but to me, lights shows are cacochromatic crap, to be enjoyed only if one hits the bong hard, like the cacophony that is much modern jazz.

- I have a pioneer mentality. My wife & I live in the woods - neighbors aren't visible except slightly in winter. Our "bunker" - hehe, really a fine home & barn - has plenty of security. We have four dogs: Krypto (age 9, Kelpie), Ava (age 13, Rat Terrier), Sky (Kelpie, age 5) and Lucky Star (age 1, kelpie). I don't take crap from anyone anymore, having enough resources & gear stocked up to survive in any circumstance. I have three degrees from Harvard including a Ph. D. in a physical science, and an MS in Management from MIT. I worked as an investment banker for about 25 years, mainly in secured finance, at three major Wall Street firms and for the last 17 years with my partners at our own firm. I'm semi-retired now, managing some private corporations and business interests and doing my own trading & investing. This is not to boast, but to give you an idea I know a little about some subjects from experience. The photo is my 1943 M16 half-track which I am restoring. These armored vehicles were ubiquitous in the US Army in World War II and Korea. It's driveable.

I haven't had any good, stock specific ideas.
My non-profit work with a couple of HS friends is taking a lot of time, as was business until mid-June. Business is on cruise control now - simple collections.
The non-profit should be on cruise control for awhile by the end of July, so perhaps my little grey cells wil start working on stocks again then.

actually, frosty, I'm planning to clean my Ma Deuce for this year's shoot in VT mountains.
Ma Deuce...every fith round a tracer?...what type burst pattern you use to walk her in...tap twice to target and fire for effect...kill or be killedsytle.
Yup, re tracer - most of mine is APIT.
I usually "skip" it in for the traverse with doubles, but use the elevation for up-down control (I'm well-practiced on it).
I fire a couple rounds and adjust until on target (I like to go for the oil pan to light them up - the APIT does that beautifully).
The blue tipped tracer works great, too.
I have so nuch APIT, API, Inc in my bunker that I use more than 1:5 - often 1:2 for more fun.

I have a lifetime supply in my bunker, frosty.
don't know how much nowadays.
They last thousands of rounds. We run them until they are almost smoothbores
