Transhumance

That's a $10 word meaning, "the seasonal moving of livestock from one region to another", usually seeking better pasture or weather..

Hmmm, let's apply this to beefers. Beefers move from one group of stocks to another, seeking profits and fees. So beefers practice "transhumance" for stocks instead of livestock!

Here's a sentence. "The unpredictable nature of beefer transhumance of their stocks makes time diversification and dip buying a profitable endeavor for long term investors."

Hehehe. The study of the behavior of beefers is essential for one's investing health! ;-)

When the market was makin record highs....wasn't it you who was sayin 'the beefers are gettin short, covering and reshorting higher ' ...and they were gettin killed. And now you are sayin that they are dumping stox tryin to protect their profits. Huh???? That doesn't make any sense.

Another tremendous column by Alan Abelson this week. He is by far my favorite wall street columnist. I may not agree with him all the time but I absolutely luv reading him in Barrons every week. He's a very witty and humorous writer. Best line ( among many ) this week is how everyone got crushed underneath that 'wall of worry' the market had been climbing . Lmaooooooooo

Frank Rich also with a superb column in the sunday nytimes. What an absolute disgrace president bush is. He will let american servicemen get killed and maimed in iraq and not admit that he has no plan or strategy. George Bush and Dick Cheney don't care about the lives of our brave and courageous soldiers. They never have and they never will. W and Cheney sicken me.

Some real nasty lookin charts out there in stock land. Man did this market get tattooed or what. Got invited to play 36holes tomorrow. Maybe i'll do that.

Also in the nytimes this sunday...Elliot spitzer with a column 'apologizing' for certain ethical lapses in his administration. He's an ex-prosecutor. He used the state police to dig up dirt on his political opponents. Wonder what he did when he was attorney general for Newyork.

I describe the dominant herds of beefers, Bud. I don't write a treatise on every move or every group every time I write. The short interest numbers proved I was right. And looking at groups like oils, there were surely momo beefer funds pushing those up farther than justified. So when lightning strikes, the momo beefers puke up the stocks to protect profits in a stampede.

Sheesh Bud - Abelson is one of the worst perma-bears in existence. He missed the ENTIRE 1980-2000 bull market. He's just a joke hiding as a writer.
