Great News ...

Ohio State 42, Michigan 7. :))

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State has never dominated Michigan the way it does right now.

In the rivalry’s most lopsided result in 40 years, the Buckeyes won their fifth straight over that hated school up north for the first time, ending a dreadful first season for Wolverines coach Rich Rodriguez.“I’ve been here for one of them,” Rodriguez said. “That’s the only one I can really comment on. They have one in a row on us from what I see.”Ohio State (10-2, 7-1) used five big plays to win by the biggest margin in the rivalry since Woody Hayes was prowling and growling on the sidelines in a 50-14 rout of Michigan in 1968.

in better news PSU to the rose bowl. paterno is a genius! but id bet the other coaches chuck a tape in from like 86 and let him think that is the real game.

what did he say. "i dont know what its called the BCS or the BSC. whatever they call it, i dont like it"

bman had an interesting chat, want some input.

i happened to be chatting with the CEO of liquid point, which is a vendor. we started talking about the tape, and he rekindled the stagger lee thesis.

he suggested that even with deflation of energy and other commodities, that the CPI is still at 10% if u use the same formula that was used in 1980. in his opinion, after 1980, the bls became a joke and just massaged the numbers to water inflation down.

this guy is a beefer and imo, he knew his shit. i told him about my plan to move to costa rica, and he agreed, its a gud idea.

he was quite adamant that once the deleveraging is over (but who knows when that will be), the us dollar is gonna splat, commodities go right back up.

he's a bleeping idiot.

With the old formulae re house prices, CPI would likely be -10% now and have been so for past year -> negative.

Deleveraging - what a phony tale -> most "leverage" is backed by other leverage and cancels out, just like derivatives.

It's all just fear now. A panic of the rich leads to the common man panicking.

All the recession mongers get their wish after a year of screeching: a self-fulfiling fear.

uh .. Costa Rica is rather close to Nicaragua - and the proto-commies like Ortega - friend of Chavez..

hope you consider an escape route if you go there. Take some gold or diamonds to bribe the border guards.
