.... uh ... well ... ok, perfectly acceptable losses. I was truely up after Monday, but ... played Tuesday AM & it was ugly. Came back Tuesday PM mostly & had a lot of fun. I won five straight "Don't Pass" bets with full odds against my dice. :-))
Hmmm, I see the CPI number was good - a year over year downtick. New high for Dow. And S&P is closing in on the old all time high. Rut & Nazz underperform.
Disinflation and moderate growth can bring a great bull market. Perma-bears suffer the drip torture. Beefers starve.

PS: Inflation ... hmmm ... my homeowner's insurance cost went DOWN 5.9% per $100,000 insured amount. Guess that's a benefit for our crummy weather vs. Florida. ;-)
PPS: Jobless claims down. Another week under 300,000. I guess perma-bear pronouncements that the economy of collapsing are ... delusions.
P^3S: Mrs. B was incredibly lucky, as usual, on the penny slots. Or she can see the future on her machine. Who knows? Who cares why - a win is a win is a win :-)) And the casino even gave her a $13 check as a "comp" for her play.

There wer only two players at the time, Bud, & the other guy bet Don't Pass on my rolls, too. I had told him my rolls were on a very unlucky streak. :-))
Btw, he was on a hot streak for the Pass so we double teamed the casino for about an hour. :-))

Tuesday AM I forgot about switching to "Don't Pass" tactics on cold dice. Just plain forgot. At least I remembered later & recouped a lot.
In the PM I sort of pondered out loud about betting "Don't Pass" on my rolls and the dealer sort of suggested I'd regret it. Maybe that made me try it. Worked great & I laughed that I was glad the didn't try harder to talk me out of it. Anyway, I left a big tip when he & the boys helped me get a correct count from the boxman, who initially really shorted me.
I have to remember to do my own count first before asking for color. Just in case.
the CPI is 2.8% yoy. i cudnt help myself but to LOL as i passed gas stations with gas at 3.26 for premium (it was 3.08 last week). and looking at crack spreads i expect 4 for premuim before mid june. and thats when fed is gonna cut rates.
and another small piece of me died last nite at 130 am. even when the suns were up 16 wasnt comfortable. even up 8 with 4 to go, i just knew the dirty spurs wud catch some breaks and steal the game. was a little dissapointed with suns fans. they were into it, but not enuff.
david stern was secretly wanna be married to duncan. first he fires practically the best ref in the NBA becuase of duncan. duncan can apparently walk 5 ft onto the court, while on the bench, with no even a hint of a suspension. but the 2 suns who got axed never got that far onto the court, and for that matter they didnt come close to the "altercation".

bud u going to roger watters tom nite? im pumped for sat. with respect to your sopranos question, "gud ear". the begining of the song was definitely from "the wall" (with gilmour singing). then when christopher turned it up, i think it was watters singing it. its like they switched tracks, half way through the song. tony is soooo funny. waiting till u r 50 to try peyote is definitely a ballsy move. well whoever wrote those scenes, clearly has taken peyote before, becuase that exactly what its like. or at least thats what ive been told ;-) LOL

ive been down the rabbit whole about 1000 times. i stopped when i was 32. its a young persons thing. when u start thinking about the market and bills while your spinning, its time to move on.
i did have about 1000 wonderful experiences with it, and it formed much of the person i am today.
hopefully one day, ill calm down enuff, that i cud actually enjoy it again. but its a full committment. once u go down the rabbit whole, u dont come back for 12 hours (which can feel like yrs, if u r not having fun).
